Register Your Business and Enter the Bidding Marketplace

Rank1Local verifies every advertiser before granting marketplace access. Complete the registration below to submit your business information, identity verification, licensing documentation, and payment method for review.

Once approved, your account is protected by Rank1Local's outbid notification system: if a competitor takes the #1 position in your city and category, you receive an instant email and SMS alert with a one-click rebid link. Calls and form submissions generated by your ranking are tracked and delivered directly to the current top-bid holder, with billing processed per validated lead through Stripe.

Why Verification Matters

Rank1Local's marketplace is built on transparency. Every business competing for a city and category ranking must be verified before a single bid is placed. This protects consumers searching for local services and ensures that businesses defending their position are held to a documented, licensed standard — not just the size of their budget.

1. Submit Business Details

Provide your business name, service category, and city/zip so Rank1Local can place you in the correct local bidding market.

2. Verify Your Identity

Upload a government-issued ID and current business license. Verification confirms that the entity bidding for a ranking position is a legitimate, licensed operator.

3. Accept the Advertiser Agreement

Review and accept the terms governing bidding conduct, lead delivery, and billing, outlined in full in the Advertiser Agreement.

4. Add a Payment Method

Store a payment method on file through Rank1Local's payment processor, Stripe. Every payment method is verified in a Stripe test-mode transaction before it is approved for live billing. Your card is charged on a $/lead basis only when a qualified lead is delivered to your account, and each charge is reconciled and logged in your advertiser lead log.

5. Get Approved and Start Bidding

Once verification clears, your account activates in the Advertiser Dashboard, where you can place your first bid and begin competing for the #1 position. If a competitor outbids you, Rank1Local's outbid notification system immediately emails and texts you a one-click rebid link. While you hold the top position, calls to your tracking phone number and form submissions from your listing are captured, attributed to your account, and routed to you as billed leads.

Verification typically completes within 1-2 business days. Once approved, your business is eligible to place bids in its category and city on the Advertiser Dashboard. Review current bidding costs on the Pricing page before you submit your registration.

Approved advertisers holding the #1 position receive a dedicated tracking phone number and form-capture widget for their listing. Every call and form fill is attributed to the current top-bid holder, delivered as a lead, and billed through Stripe once validated. If your position is outbid, Rank1Local's notification system emails and texts you immediately with a one-click rebid link.
